Do you want to buy 7 Days to Die but don’t know if it is good? In this review, I will tell you about the positives and negatives of the game.

Graphics and Frame Rate

The graphics in 7 Days to Die are average with a good computer. If you have a bad computer, the graphics are extremely poor, and the frame rate suffers unless you lower the resolution.

There are many unique weapons in the game, ranging from an electric baton to a pipe pistol. All of the weapons are fairly balanced for the stage of the game you’re in. However, some of the late-game weapons obtained through quests or specific areas are slightly overpowered. Obtaining them can be time-consuming.

The quests in this game are one of its best aspects. Although they can be somewhat repetitive, they are highly enjoyable. The game keeps them from becoming too monotonous by incorporating different buildings and quest types. For example, one quest may involve finding buried treasure, while another requires retrieving a satchel from a building. Completing quests rewards you with coins that can be used to purchase gear. Milestones are also achieved by completing a significant number of quests.

The building mechanics in this game are unique and highly customizable. There are numerous creative possibilities for constructing buildings, and hundreds of block shapes to choose from, each with its own distinct characteristics.

While the zombies in this game may not be exceptionally unique, they are still enjoyable to encounter. The difficulty of the zombies is balanced according to the area or quest you’re engaged in. Some zombies even possess unique abilities, such as spitting poison at the player.

Overall, I rate 7 Days to Die a 9 out of 10. The game is highly enjoyable due to its engaging quests, building mechanics, and varied weapons. However, the graphics and frame rate bring down the overall score. Taking into account all the factors I mentioned, including zombies, building, quests, weapons, graphics, and frame rate, I believe this game deserves a rating of 9 out of 10.
