Have you considered buying Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? If so, this review will cover the positive and negative aspects of the game.

Graphics and frame rate

The graphics in this game, particularly on the Xbox Series S, are not impressive due to its release in late 2015. However, the frame rate is remarkably good.

The multiplayer in this game is unique, featuring jetpacks and wall running. The movement mechanics are well-executed. Currently, there aren’t many game-breaking bugs or cheats, so you can still have fun with this seven-year-old game.

The zombies mode in Black Ops 3 is highly regarded by the community and considered excellent. While it doesn’t offer other game modes, it provides numerous maps, each with its own uniqueness and enjoyable traversal. The Easter eggs in this mode are a highlight, being both memorable and fun to complete.

I didn’t particularly enjoy the Black Ops 3 campaign. Firstly, the AI was subpar and repetitive. Additionally, it was challenging to complete solo, and when played in multiplayer, it felt too easy. Finally, the story of the campaign was excessively convoluted, making it difficult to comprehend, and even when understood, it wasn’t on par with the quality expected from a Call of Duty campaign.

I appreciated the way weapons were implemented in this game, as it was easy to understand. The accessories were simple yet comprehensible. The guns felt smooth and well-balanced, except for some sniper rifles that could kill with a single shot above the waist while still maintaining fast firing and reloading speeds.

Multiplayer Maps

I greatly enjoyed the multiplayer maps as they were well-designed and displayed careful thought. While there were a few maps that felt repetitive throughout, the large number of maps in both the DLC and the original game made up for it. Most maps successfully incorporated wall running and flying mechanics, creating a satisfying experience.

I would rate Black Ops 3 an 8 out of 10. The zombies mode was exceptionally well-received, and the guns were enjoyable to use. However, the campaign brought the score down a bit. The multiplayer experience was decent but not outstanding. Taking all factors into account, the game earns an 8 out of 10.
